A painting that began as a request from a friend—
but became something I needed, too.

A re-imagining of a heroine I grew up with,
seen through my own lens.

What we don’t see can feel impossible—
until it exists, even just as an image.

And once it exists, something changes.

The mind begins to believe.
The heart begins to follow.

A reminder of the heroine’s journey—
Through struggle, we grow,
and we return with a new way of seeing the world.

A new strength. A new way of being.

The hero/heroine was never missing—only waiting to be seen.
