Broken Hearted

A painting created in recognition of the inner child—

the parts that felt unseen, unheard, and never fully expressed.

The girl in this piece is in pain.
But within the same space, there is a sunrise—
and a fully shining sun.

It is a reminder that wherever we feel the deepest hurt,
light can begin to enter as well.

Not by pushing the pain away,
but by allowing it to be seen,
and slowly, integrated.

And somewhere within that process,
the inner world changes.

Because we begin to understand
that we were never really broken.
